Competitiveness is a central theme in the Dutch spatial policy. Therefor there is an enormous amount of knowledge. However, this knowledge is often of a macro-economic nature, which can be too abstract for an pragmatic approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This study uses the ‘business climate’ as a starting point (bottom-up) and aims for the interface with macroeconomic policy (top-down). The goal is to provide tools for specific solutions elaboration of regional competitiveness and accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
