Usually, this is&nbsp;interpreted in the narrow form of health protection (air and noise barriers). The broad interpretation is based on creating a healthy environment, it also includes an environment that encourages healthy behaviors such as exercise and social interaction. By an international knowledge benchmark three&nbsp;thoughts are elaborated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the use of wet infrastructure for an attractive continuous bicycle network<\/li><li>promoting the relationship of the transfer options of highway to slow traffic (park and bike)<\/li><li>to reduce the barrier effect of the highway infrastructure.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;social benefits are calculated on an abstract level, indicating that the cycle network pays off in the short term. The transfer&nbsp;to slow traffic is a strategic shift which pays off in the medium term.
